Our history
From alpine cabin to spa hotel
Where our
hotel near Lake Carezza in Italy stands today, was once a small mountain hut belonging to the
Moserhof farm. Hay was stored there in summer, while it stood empty in winter.
Siegfried Auer, one of twelve children from the Moserhof, returned to Nova Levante in
1949 after ten years at the front and as a Russian prisoner of war. He met his future
wife Filomena while working at the hut. In the years that followed, they began to receive guests and continue to expand the hut. After many renovations, their daughter
Monika and her husband Georg Eisath took over in 2002 and in
2019, the
Moseralm Dolomiti Spa Resort was passed on to their children
Magdalena and Michael. Today the Moseralm, now a luxury hotel in the Dolomites and a
4-star hotel since 2006, leaves nothing to be desired.
Dolomiti Hotels Five unique retreats
In addition to the Moseralm, the
Auer siblings also run
four other 4-star hotels in the area. Being active together, culinary delights, natural wellness and personal contact with the guests are still the main focus of your holiday in the Dolomites at the ‘
Dolomiti Hotels’ Alpenrose, Marica, Moseralm, Oberlehenhof and Passo Carezza, even in the third generation.
