Peaceful Christmas Days
Christmas falls right in the middle of the ski season in South Tyrol. Although many guests visit us during this period, there is a noticeable sense of calm and slowing down. Spending Christmas in the Alps means consciously escaping the festive hustle and bustle of the cities, seeking nature, silence, and moments of stillness. And you will find plenty of that during a Christmas getaway in South Tyrol: the snowy expanses of the Dolomites unfold around our hotel, inviting you to explore them on snowshoes, cross-country skis, or ski tours.
Christmas in the Dolomites is not only a personal but also a social experience: at the Christmas markets in the area, couples, families, and friends come together to taste sweet and savoury specialties, listen to festive music, and discover unique handcrafted gifts.
At the Moseralm Dolomiti Hideaway, preparations for Christmas begin early: the house is decorated, the tree is adorned, the Advent wreath is lit, and the nativity scene is set up. On Christmas Eve we spoil you with a special festive menu, followed by a cozy celebration with the host family Auer Eisath – complete with gift giving. The two Christmas holidays afterwards are perfect for taking things slowly, letting the moments sink in, and spending time with yourself, your family, or your friends. Our luxurious wellness area is the ideal retreat.
New Year’s Eve in the Mountains
The way we like to end the year says a lot about us. Do you prefer to reflect on the past or are you already planning your resolutions for the new year? Do you look forward to change, or do you enjoy predicting the future with playful New Year’s rituals? Would you rather celebrate in an intimate circle or with a glittering party complete with fireworks and waltzes?
On December 31st, we prepare an unforgettable New Year’s Eve at hotel Moseralm. Our special menu includes Italian delicacies that are traditionally said to bring luck in the year ahead. During our traditional torchlight ski run with our guests, we bid farewell to the old year together. What comes after is entirely up to you.
During your New Year’s getaway in Europe, don’t miss the perfect slope conditions at this time of year. A good glass of wine on a mountain hut is the perfect way to welcome the new year.
Those Magical Days in Between
The days between Christmas and Epiphany are literally called the “time between the years” in German. It is that wonderful period when no one really knows which day of the week it is, how many cookies they have eaten, or how many times Home Alone has been on TV. And that is exactly what makes these days so special. Visit us during this in-between time if you want to skip the “formalities” of the big holidays and enjoy a winter break with maximum freedom.
Come alone or with your loved one and enjoy our fine cuisine, the exclusive wellness area with Adults Only and Family SPA, the spacious rooms with Dolomite views, and the peaceful winter landscape that invites you to explore.
